Designed by Christopher Alexander Rodrigues (C.A.R.) and based on the proven Maserati GT Convertible (Gran Cabrio) platform, the innovative and handsome Maserati Corona (Crown in Italian) GTX 2+2 (Xtreme) is a pure art sculpture on wheels powered by an upgraded Ferrari/Maserati F136 V8 engine.

This one-of a-kind brilliant innovative glass dome 2+2 design makes use of a much clever and useful Design approach not seen in any other Supercars and Hypercars, with fresh and clean design lines that are completely free from the clutter of multiple useless  wings, air vents and intakes that have plagued most modern sports cars designs we see today.

It's the first and only Supercar in the world to offer the unique feeling and experience of driving in an open car with totally unobstructed surrounding views in the comfort of a climate controlled fighter-jet cockpit that protects all occupants from the elements and the weather. The transparency of the cockpit from the sun is fully adjustable and electronically controlled.

Most importantly, unlike most Supercars, the driver and the front and rear passengers do not need to be contortionists to be able to get in and out of the car! The ingenious one-piece electro-hydraulic fighter-jet styled dual plexiglass dome lifts up and out of the way for you and your 3 passengers to easily get in and out of the car.
The best feature is that the fighter-jet dome is easily removed to quickly transform the sports car into a 4 seater Barchetta for a true immersive open air driving experience! 

The design beautifully integrates the exhilarating open air experience with the unique power and sound that only the Ferrari-developed F136 V8 engine can delivers and with the optional upgraded Supercharged combined with a 6 speed manual gated transmission makes it a true driver's car.
